Punta Prima, Nr Torrevieja situated
next to the sea in the south of the Valencian
Community, is surrounded by two large
natural salt-water lagoons. The local beaches have
earned a staggering 'sixty-seven' European 'Blue
Flags' and they vary from secluded sandy dunes
with magnificent pinewood picnic areas to long
flat sandy beaches extending many kilometers.
Torrevieja is
an old fishing village, only minutes drive from Blue
Lagoon. There is a fabulous range of facilities,
including the lovely esplanade, with its outdoor
cafes and harbour area - perfect for an evening stroll.
It also has many shops, tapas bars and restaurants,
which are open all year round plus an incredible
indoor market which sells a huge variety of fresh
fish, fruit and vegetables.
